JuiceSSH Alternative on iPhone: Use NeoServer for SSH and SFTP

JuiceSSH is an Android SSH client; evaluate NeoServer on iPhone for SSH, SFTP, monitoring and containers.

1 min read

JuiceSSH users moving from Android to iPhone usually need more than a familiar terminal: saved hosts, key authentication and reliable file access matter too. NeoServer is an iOS and macOS server-management app with SSH terminal, SFTP, system metrics and container tools. It is an alternative for this workflow, not a port of JuiceSSH.

Migration checklist

  1. Record each host, port, username and authentication method on the old device. Export keys only through a trusted method; do not paste private keys into chat or an unsecured note.
  2. Add one host in NeoServer and verify its host key before entering credentials.
  3. Test terminal input, SFTP transfers and the server actions you use. Container controls require appropriate remote permissions.
  4. Move remaining hosts only after the test succeeds.

If you only need an SSH shell, compare terminal and keyboard behavior first. If you manage files and containers as well, check the combined workflow. Pricing and supported features can change, so consult the current App Store listing.
