Fileso can turn a Markdown document into an HTML file on iPhone or iPad. The output is useful when the recipient needs a rendered web page instead of raw .md text. Fileso creates a separate .html file, so you can keep editing the Markdown source.
Export the HTML file
- Open the
.mdfile in Fileso and check that the Markdown preview looks as expected. - Open the file’s More actions and select Convert to HTML.
- Wait for the newly created HTML file to appear beside the source.
- Open the HTML file and check headings, links, images and code blocks.
- Share the HTML file only after checking that it works in the destination browser or app.
The HTML export includes a page template and styles used by Fileso. It is a rendered document, not a source-code-only conversion. If you are adding it to an existing website, inspect the exported markup and styles first so they do not conflict with your site’s layout.
What should you check before publishing?
Relative image links depend on files that may not travel with the HTML document. Copy or host those images separately and update their paths if the page will be published online. Also verify links and any embedded HTML in the original Markdown.
